Donations to the PTA

The school funding squeeze and falling budgets are hot topics at the moment and you may be wondering how you can help your school.

While the government is being confronted to address the funding challenges, parents are not powerless to assist their school. We strongly believe that school and parents working in partnership is the most positive way to raise money and secure the best educational experiences for our children.

The PTA has put in place a few simple ways for parents to make one-off or regular donations to the school. All donations, whether large or small, are gratefully received and will go a long way to improve the school environment.
The Belleville School PTA is now Gift Aid registered, which allows us to maximise your donations by claiming an extra 25p for every £1 you donate at no extra cost to you.

1. Online Donations

Donating online is very simple.
Click on the link below that will take you to the PTA donation page.
Follow the Gift Aid prompt and enter your name and address that are needed for the Gift Aid declaration form.
Click HERE to donate to the PTA

You will have two options for payment:
Card payment - ideal for smaller donations as a transaction fee of 1.4% will be charged to the PTA.
Bank transfer - better suited for larger donations. No transaction fee for the PTA.

To qualify for Gift Aid you must be a UK tax payer (income or capital gains tax) and have paid at least as much tax as the Gift Aid claimed.
For any clarification on the process, do not hesitate to contact the PTA treasurers Bellevilletreasurer@yahoo.co.uk.

2. New Contactless Donation Boxes

From this term, look out for the new PTA branded contactless donation boxes at our main events (Summer party and Summer fair). Feel free to tap as many times as you wish to donate the fixed sum of £10.

3. Double your Donations with Match-Funding

Did you know that any donations you make to the school might be eligible for matched funding from your employer? This can apply to online or contactless donations or to funds raised at events where you have given your time. Businesses from large multinationals to sole traders and self-employed individuals can offset their tax bills by donating to charities and many offer match funding to their employees.
Please ask you employers!
The amount offered varies from company to company but do enquire with your Community Relations or HR manager if they operate or are interested in running a matched funding scheme.
If you think your employer provides match funding and would like further assistance, please contact Rosie Ogle

Thank you for your support.
