Learning Across the Curriculum
Links between subjects are made to ensure the curriculum is dynamic, creative and relevant while still ensuring children learn key skills. We teach all National Curriculum subjects from Year 1 onwards.
Belleville is committed to ensuring that all children reach good standards in English and maths by the age of 11. These subjects are explicitly taught on a daily basis. We monitor the progress of every child closely each term. Where children are not making progress, teachers adapt their teaching, seek advice, inform parents and provide additional support if necessary.

English
English has a high priority on our timetable.
Mathematics
Standards in mathematics are very good.
Science
"Science is really a fun-packed subject which children really seem to enjoy here".
ICT
All classrooms have computers and interactive whiteboards.
Music
We have a full time music teacher who teaches each class for at least one lesson every week.
Art
The standard of art at Belleville is exceptional.
PE
Our children receive an extremely high standard of teaching in a wide range of PE activities.
Religious Education
We aim to help children understand and respect different religious beliefs and practices.
